Here in Maine we like to think of this time as the real ending of summer, and a transition into true fall. We ring this in with our last scheduled Turner Farm trip. This is a regular Penobscot Bay Expedition with a twist- On Friday, we make our way through the Fox Island Thoroughfare and North Haven Island, where we drop anchor in front of Turner Farm, and go ashore for a traditional Maine Barn Supper. A community event, enjoy a farm to table 5 course meal amongst friends old and new. Walk around the grounds with a glass of wine and enjoy a property that has been active as a farm since 1780, and archeolgists have found human artifacts that date back to 4,000 years.
