Eggemoggin Reach Regatta
August 3rd-August 6th
-
What is it?
The Eggemoggin Reach Regatta is considered the “Woodstock” of wooden boat races. Staged in Brooklin Maine, at the Wooden Boat School, this regatta brings over 100 wooden classic sailing vessels together for a 15nm course that’s been the same since its inception in the 1970’s. There is nothing more breathtaking then the start of the ERR. Lest we forget the evening activities however- Live music, BBQ, drinks and mingling with all the boat crews and a raucous awards ceremony. This is a 4 day racing event, beginning in Camden Maine, with the Camden to Brooklin Feeder Race.

What should I expect if I book?
Boarding begins at 11am in Camden. A day of sailing and exploration in Camden is then followed by a captains meeting at the Camden Yacht Club friday morning, and then we are off! One of the most beautiful race courses, the Camden to Brooklin feeder race brings you across the bay, and up through Stonington. The main event is Saturday, with the ERR. Big party after, wine, stories and fun. Steam back to Camden on Sunday.
